- Beautiful graphics and music
- Game Center integration with leaderboards and achievements

Pros and cons of Armor Raiders app for iPhone and iPad

Armor Raiders app good for

With better graphics, gameplay, sound, and controls, this is a great update to the classic Rescue Raiders game from the mid-80s. You wont be able to solve this game by just blasting everything in site - youll need strategy and a steady hand to protect your ground units and solve each mission. I love that you can control the game either via the accelerometer or the touch screen - choose the interface that you are better at. Well worth the price for the full version!
Love it. Reminds me of games when they were games not life styles.
The developer was very response, one bug he found and sought me out to explain. Great product.
I really like what these guys put out. I hadnt purchased from Whizzo before, so I was a little unsure at first. But that uncertainty was lifted quickly when I started playing this. I remember a game a while back on my Sega Master System that this reminded me of - of course I dont have that any more. Granted, someone tweeted about this yesterday and I had to take a look. I got the free version and had to get the rest of the levels. Its only $1.99 - well worth it in my opinion. The thing I love about it is that you have to use all the resources available to get to your goal - it isnt that unrewarding gameplay where you can just fire through the line and follow your gun to an endpoint. Love that there is at least a little strategy that has to go into finishing a mission. Thats my two cents...but Im interested in what the rest of you think. Pick it up and post yours...
Awesome I havent played this game since the mid 80s on our Apple 2e. I was hooked for days. wish there were more levels. graphics were awesome as well.
Love this game!!! Hope they release new campaigns and weapons. Would pay to upgrade!!

Some bad moments

Bought the full version and only 2 levels..,,,?? I might as well just kept the demo. The Map is large make Some levels i love the game, my 6 year. Cant stop playing.
Come on for 1.99 this thing wont let me go to the secand level thats just a rip off!
Unusable controls The d pad isnt usable This us not nearly as controllable as the originals I played and still play on my pc with emulation the original rescue raiders apple iie and armor alley dos versions. They are WAY more controllable. I consider the game unusable as it is with current controls.
Kinda annoying how your mobile SAM vehicles cant hit an enemy helicopter hovering right above them.....
The helicopter points left or right depending on which way youre going. This is fundamentally flawed and makes the game much harder.
